• Price is Right Contestant
  • Wear normal clothes or a Price is Right t-shirt. Make a large yellow name tag in the shape of a price tag, add your name, and attach it to your chest. Use poster board and copy the shape and design of the Price is Right showcase podium, add the logo and some numbers, and suspend it from your neck so it hangs in front of your lower body.

  • Blow Pop
  • Purchase a round Japanese lantern (sold at Ikea or any lamp store). Cut the bottom so it will fit over your head. Either paint or make an enlarged photocopy of a Blow Pop wrapper and wrap it around the shade (with eyeholes of course). Wear white top, white pants, white gloves and white tennis shoes.

  • Organ Grinder
  • Wear a white button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up and garters on your upper sleeves, a colorful vest, slacks, and a bowler hat. (Or, wear an old-fashioned suit.) Wear a fake mustache, or mutton chops. Take a square cardboard box and paint it to look like an organ; make a hand-crank out of wire and attach it to the side. Add a strap so you can hang it from your shoulder, and a pointy stick to the bottom to support it on the ground. Attach a stuffed monkey to the top (dress the monkey in a cute outfit). Optional: put a tape player or iPod and speaker inside the box and play real music.

  • Head on a Platter
  • Take a round piece of sturdy cardboard, and cut out a hole for your head. Cover it with a tablecloth that also has a hole for your head. Then glue down plates, candlesticks, forks knives and napkins. Create a platter made of thin cardboard painted silver with a hole in the middle and a slit cut from the hole in the middle to one the edge of side. Slip it around your neck so it looks like your head is on a platter. When you stand up, the tablecloth will fall around you and cover your torso. When you sit down, your body will disappear and you will look like a dinner table setting with a head on a platter.

  • Dust Bunny
  • To be a Dust Bunny, just dress like a bunny and carry a feather duster. Start by finding an old bunny costume. Or, make your own out of a white hooded sweatsuit (add long ears and a tail). Dirty up the bunny costume by rolling around on a dusty floor. Then carry a feather duster in your hand (or a "dust buster" vacuum).

  • Baby in a Crib
  • This costume creates the illusion that you are a baby in a crib. Your face is the baby's face, and you'll be using a stuffed baby body. The "crib" will sit at an angle, with the top over your head and shoulders, and the bottom resting on your lower stomach. Find a box that is about 2x2x3 feet big, cut out the top and bottom and cut all the sides into slats so it looks like a crib. Now make a fake mattress, covering it with flannel, with a skirt of flannel that drops down covering your lower body. There should be a hole in the top of the mattress for your head to stick through. Add a baby blanket, bottle, etc. to the inside of the crib. Now take some baby clothes and stuff them (add some doll hands), then attach them just under your chin, so it looks like your head is the baby's head. Wear a bonnet with a curl of hair coming down the front.
