• Chicken
  • Use white or yellow feather boas to attach feathers to a long sleeved shirt, shorts and knitted cap. Cut red felt into the shape of the "comb" and attach to the cap. Fashion a beak out of yellow felt and attach it to the cap so it hangs down in front of your nose. Create webbed feet using red felt over your shoes. Wear red tights.

  • Bat
  • Start by wearing all-black clothes--pants, shirt, shoes and gloves. Make a hood out of black cloth, and add some black felt ears to the top. To make wings, cut a piece of black fabric for each arm - it should be triangular in shape and somewhat larger than the space between your arm and body when you're holding your arms upward at an angle. Make scalloped cuts in the outer edges, to resemble a bat's wings. Then, sew each piece into place along the bottom of your sleeves and the sides of your torso. Optional: wear a bandit mask, and/or add black make-up to the tip of your nose.

  • Swatted Fly
  • Wear all black. Get some cheap angel wings and bend them down to look like fly wings (or make your own with some cardboard and spray paint). Add a headband with antennae. Then make a large fly swatter out of wire and window screen material. Attach it to your back. Alternatively - buy a bunch of fly swatters and attach them all over yourself. Optional: put googly eyes all over your face (the self adhesive kind), since flies have a ton of eyes.

  • Little Bo Peep and One of Her Sheep
  • Little Bo Peep wears a pink dress, a large brimmed pink hat fastened with a ribbon below the chin, and carries a crook (a long white cane) with a ribbon around it. The sheep covers an all-white outfit with cotton balls, wears a hood and covers that in cotton balls, too. Black mittens and black slippers complete the look.

  • Hippo
  • Start with a grey hooded sweatsuit or footy pajamas. Attach a ball cap to the inside of the hood to give yourself a base for the hippo snout. Use cloth and padding to make the shape, then add eyes, nose holes, teeth and ears. Wear grey gloves and shoe covers and attach white half-circles of felt to create hippo feet.

  • Black Cat
  • Wear black clothes and black shoes. Make ears out of black fake fur and attach them to a headband. Use some more black fur to make a long tail and attach it to your behind. Make a collar out faux leather, and attach a bell and a name tag. Cut the fingertips off of a pair of black gloves, and wear long pointy false nails that poke through the gloves. Use make-up to give yourself a black nose and some whiskers.
